Product Description Here's your chance to get the hardiest Deep-Snow Tip-Up you can buy! The Polar Pop-Up Tip-Up is underwater ice fishing tackle at its finest. Built rugged out of space age plastic to take punishment while it stays lightweight and warm to the touch. Features that put it in a class by itself. Patented magnetic trip mechanism is snow and freeze proof... never worry about below-zero temperatures and drifting snow affecting your success again! No exposed line or trip mechanism means even a 50 mph wind can't trip the POP-UP accidentally; On hard strikes, the spool winder acts as a water brake to keep the spool from over-running and fouling up your line; Specially designed spool winder lets you wind up your line easily anytime you want; Adjustable tension: light for panfish, medium for walleye and heavy in deep water for lake trout and northern; No exposed flag to confuse you from a distance, and the flag shaft is a bright fluorescent orange so you get a positive signal when a fish strikes; Easy-to-grip knurled spool lock is designed for adjusting tension and for locking the spool when storing. Available with or without a signal light on the flag. Choose one ONLINE today! AVAILABLE SEPARATELY: HT Enterprises Polar Magnetic Pop-Up Tip-Up - word search in our Store for 'H.T. | Customer Reviews: Hope it works September 7, 2010 Andy H (Illinois) The concept seems work-able and it is clear that this was done as low cost. Everything seems to function correctly, but I'm not going to cry if this unit gets lost. Be careful with the tube at the bottom near the reel. It came off very easily. If a fish takes the bait, the reel will go with it at the first tug. I'm going to put an adhesive to re-attach it, then I'll tape the outside and epoxy seal it. Also, I'm not sure how many big fish I'll pull in with this. The reel has a finger imprint where you reel your fish in; no handle or anything. I'm thinking about making my own handle or reel. The upper part of the unit seems like it will work.
